Support GLCSMS to offer Ethical Journalism and Capacity Building Training in Uganda

GLCSMS is a not-for-profit media institution incorporated in Uganda and headquartered in Kamdini Town Council, Oyam district. It offers media support training, solution-based journalism support, defends press freedom, grants; among others. Now, the purpose of this fundraising is to generate funds through your generosity to help us provide in-depth reporting through the provisions of grants to at least 10 reporters from different media houses in the country, including organizing factchecking and data-based journalism trainings for 15 journalists selected from Northern, Eastern and Western Uganda parts of the country. We aim that the support will also help us to kick start our planned activities, and to contribute to the need to have solution-based journalism in which stories are not just texts, photos or videos, but a source of development and accountability for societal growth.
