The most common things coordinators and contributors ask before they start.

When should I use SenteMe versus just my mobile money number?
Use your mobile money number when everyone contributing is already in your phone book and trusts you personally, like a small family group. Use SenteMe when you need to reach further than that. Friends of friends, diaspora, people who care about your cause but do not know you personally. The 7.5% covers the trust layer (public ledger, verified beneficiary, one shareable link) that makes those wider contributions possible.
What's a transaction fee?
It is the cost of moving a contribution from a contributor's phone to your campaign. We charge a flat 7.5% per contribution and absorb the mobile money network costs ourselves. The 7.5% is taken at withdrawal. Mobile Money donations are credited before withdrawal fees. Card donations are credited after Stripe processing fees. The withdrawal screen shows what will reach your wallet before you confirm.
Do contributors pay anything to SenteMe?
No. Contributors send exactly the amount they choose and pay nothing extra, so the contributor side is free. The 7.5% transaction fee comes off the coordinator at withdrawal, not off the contributor at contribution. If a contributor wants to leave an optional tip on the payment screen they can, but the default is zero and a tip is never required.
Do recurring contributors pay any extra fee?
No. Recurring contributions are the same as one-off ones for the contributor, with nothing extra. The flat 7.5% still applies to the coordinator at withdrawal, with no recurring-payment surcharge.
Are international card payments supported?
Yes. SenteMe accepts Mobile Money, cards and other payment methods available in your region. Choose Card on the campaign page to see the options in secure checkout. Card processing fees are deducted before campaign credit; withdrawal fees apply separately. Card funds become available to withdraw after settlement and payout-provider funding.
