SenteMe is a fundraising platform built for the way African communities already pool money. One shareable link collects mobile money contributions for weddings, funerals, medical bills, school fees, and any other cause, and a live ledger shows every contribution and withdrawal to the whole group. Can people contribute from abroad with a card?
Yes. SenteMe accepts Mobile Money, cards and other payment methods available in your region. Choose Card on the campaign page to see the options in secure checkout. Card processing fees are deducted before campaign credit; withdrawal fees apply separately. Card funds become available to withdraw after processing and settlement.
Is SenteMe the same as Sente?
No. SenteMe is not connected to Sente, a separate Ugandan payments company. SenteMe is the community fundraising platform at senteme.com, operated by Mea Global Inc.
How do withdrawals work?
The coordinator withdraws to their own mobile money number, in one go or in tranches. The dashboard shows the available balance, the withdrawal deduction, and what will land before they confirm. Each withdrawal then appears on the public campaign ledger.
