Breakdown
One number, everything covered.
Other platforms split their fee into a platform cut plus a processor pass-through, often with a fixed-amount surcharge on small contributions. We bundle all of that into the 7.5%. Your ledger shows the gross amount your supporters sent. When you withdraw, the screen shows the fee and what will land before you confirm.

Why one flat rate
Bundling beats pass-through.
Mobile money costs vary by country and corridor. Listing every variable separately means a coordinator cannot tell what their net will be until the money lands. One flat 7.5% means the calculator is the truth.
Why seven and a half percent
The rate that lets us absorb the rails.
African mobile money rails cost money twice, once when a contribution comes in, and again when you withdraw, adding up to between 3 and 5.5% round-trip depending on the corridor. Seven and a half percent is the rate that lets us absorb those costs and still build a real business, without passing fees through to coordinators or hiding them in small print.
What 7.5% does not cover
Your mobile money provider’s fees.
Our 7.5% gets the money onto your wallet, in full, with no surprises. After that, MTN, Airtel, M-Pesa, and the other carriers charge their own fees when you cash out at an agent, send to another wallet, or pay a merchant. That is between you and your provider. We have no visibility or control over it, and we cannot bundle it into our fee.
