Presentation of a research paper on mental health in Sickle Cell

My paper has been accepted for a GANSID Congress 2026 in Hyderabad, India. The topic is: Depression, Stigma and Psychosocial Burden among Sickle Cell Warriors and their Primary Caregivers in the Post-conflict Acholi sub-region. This isn't just a paper but voice of the 26,000+ persons living with Sickle Cell Disease and their families in a region compounded with trauma of 3 decades of war. However,. I am unable to fund my travels and accommodations to the conference to present this research proposal and your support will go directly to making sure that the Mental health of individuals living with and caring for Sickle Cell Disease are improved and integrated into their daily treatment plans across the Acholi sub-region and the entire Country (Uganda)
