Kisojo Clean well, Healthy Homes

What We're Raising Money For: I, Waiswa Kenneth, am raising 4 million UGX as an individual initiative to clean up and protect the community well in Kisojo Village. The money will go toward: · Clearing garbage and bushes around the well · Building a drainage channel to stop stagnant, disease-breeding water · Constructing a raised platform for safe, clean water collection · Installing a fence to keep animals away from the water source · Training sessions on hygiene and safe water handling for every household. Who Benefits: · All 200+ households in Kisojo Village who rely on this well for drinking, cooking, and washing · Over 500 children who will suffer fewer cases of diarrhea, typhoid, and cholera—meaning healthier lives and more time in school · Pregnant women and the elderly, who are most vulnerable to waterborne diseases · The entire community—now and for generations—through a sustainable system managed by local leaders.
