One more surgery, a lifetime of smiles.

Lamara is a brave one-year-old baby girl living with Hirschsprung disease. Since birth, she has undergone four major surgeries and currently relies on a stoma while awaiting the operation that will restore her bowel function. Her life-changing surgery is scheduled for January 2027, but the cost of surgery, hospital care, and recovery is beyond what our family can afford after the multiple surgeries and long hospital stays last year. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Lamara one step closer to a healthy childhood. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story is an incredible gift. Thank you for giving Lamara hope.

Before you give

Named beneficiary: Not separately specified. Check the story or ask the organiser.
Target and budget: 18,000,000 UGX. The organiser sets this target. Look in their story and supporting evidence for the cost breakdown; a target alone is not a verified budget.
Who receives the funds?: The organiser requests withdrawals to an allowed recipient after the required checks. The ledger shows completed withdrawals. Do not assume a donation goes directly to a hospital, school or beneficiary unless the campaign explains that arrangement.
What the badge means: This badge records manual review by SenteMe. It does not guarantee every claim or the final use of funds. Withdrawal identity checks are separate.
