MEDICAL FUNDRAISING APPEAL FOR PHILIP OGUBA WANDERA

Our father, Mr. Philip Wandera Oguba, has lived with diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) for several years. He underwent heart surgery (CABG) and stent procedures and has continued with specialist care. Since May this year, he has been admitted four times following severe internal bleeding that caused his haemoglobin to drop to a critical 4.4 g/dL. A bleeding stomach mass was identified and successfully removed on 2nd September. Unfortunately, two days later, his kidney function deteriorated, requiring emergency haemodialysis. The medical expenses have continued to mount, with the family meeting the costs out of pocket. As of 8th September, the interim bill stood at KSh 605,000 ( About UGX 18,150,000), and although he is due for discharge soon, he will require further haemodialysis and ongoing medical care. We therefore humbly appeal to family, friends, and well-wishers for any financial assistance towards his medical expenses. Every contribution, however small, will make a difference.
